Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing or injection molding is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, setup sheets, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Keep presses running smoothly by monitoring trends and reducing downtime.
• Lead complete changeovers: install and align molds, connect utilities, and verify mold protection parameters.
• Tune process variables (temperatures, pressures, cycle times) for consistent parts.
• Investigate alarms and process upsets, implement corrective actions, and reduce scrap and defects.
• Record parameters accurately in setup sheets, logs, and ERP entries.
• Ensure safety devices and PPE are properly used and maintain a clean workspace.
