Job summary

AmbaFlex in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Injection Molding Cell Operations Lead to direct daily molding activities. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time production while coordinating molds, machines, and people to optimize throughput.

The role focuses on 6S/ safety, planning, and continuous improvement; you will report to the Injection Mold & Maintenance Manager and build strong teams across operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of injection molding manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of production supervision.
• Experience with molding processes, tooling, materials, machines, and quality systems.
• Proficient with production reporting, ERP/MRP, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily injection molding operations to achieve safe, efficient, and on-time production.
• Enforce PPE and LOTO; conduct safety checks and address hazards.
• Plan and schedule mold changeovers; optimize machine utilization.
• Monitor cycle times, scrap, downtime; drive continuous improvement.
• Coach operators/technicians; manage shift handoffs and priorities.
