Placements24 is seeking a Lead Project Manager for large capital infrastructure projects in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee planning, execution, and closure, manage budgets over tens of millions, and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, PMP certification, 10+ years of experience, and strict adherence to codes, safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification mandatory.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale capital investment projects.
• Experience managing budgets exceeding R50 million.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project; financial modeling knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Oversee lifecycle of capital investment projects from conception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans: scope, resources, budgeting, scheduling.
• Manage expenditures to stay within approved financial parameters.
• Lead cross-functional teams: engineers, architects, contractors, consultants.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regs, and safety standards.
• Report project status, risks, and financials to leadership.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned from projects.
