Job summary

True Anomaly is building the next generation of space defense from Denver and beyond. As a Staff Infrastructure Platform Engineer, you’ll design and ship the cloud infrastructure, tooling, and standards that power every engineering team across the company.

You will own platform‑level decisions about cloud architecture and build‑vs‑buy, mentor early engineers, and partner with security and IT to meet government compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/DevOps/SRE or cloud engineering with leadership experience.
• Track record of owning roadmaps, architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.
• Deep cloud infrastructure design/operations across multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
• Ability to influence across teams and drive adoption of standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of foundational cloud infrastructure for the enterprise.
• Operate multi-cloud environments and establish shared networking/identity.
• Own self-service experiences for provisioning and deployment on paved roads.
• Develop reusable infrastructure‑as‑code modules and standards.
• Establish scalable CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
• Mentor first-in-team engineers and set a high engineering bar.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security/compliance across data levels.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
