Job summary

Bain & Company, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer I to join the AI Tech team in our Platform Infrastructure group in Massachusetts.

You will collaborate on building automated, secure infrastructure and AI-enabled platforms for Bain employees, using tools like Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI, and Terraform. You will work as a technical leader, designing and delivering cloud and AI platform solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP, with emphasis on automation, security, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Experience with public cloud landing zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain public and private infrastructure and solutions to support availability, orchestration, configuration, maintenance and monitoring.
• Lead engineering of new cloud and AI platform solutions as required.
• Mentor junior team members and champion secure coding practices.
• Define and advocate for effective development practices and standards.
