Job summary

Spartanburg Community College is seeking an Analyst to act as a lead architect, providing technical and analytical support for administrative and mobile software systems across academic, financial, and administrative operations.

The role focuses on data-driven insights, reporting, design, programming, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems and related databases. Limited travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and programming experience in multiple programming languages, SQL, and a knowledge of database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead data reporting and analysis; identify data-driven insights.
• Provide end user support for application software utilization and streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot application software issues and liaise with software vendors.
• Design and implement customized programs or applications to meet end users' needs.
• Provide ad-hoc query assistance and train users to create simple reports.
