Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Joint Simulation Environment project for the 412th Test Wing at Nellis AFB, NV. The role demands DoD/NSA compliance knowledge and hands-on security engineering across SAP/SCI programs.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, producing security documentation, and assisting acquisition teams with security-related requirements while maintaining active security clearances. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly unique electronic warfare, systems engineering information, systems security officer duties to effectively plan and execute the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) project.
• Function independently and may oversee the effort of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to the JSE project.
• Provide strategic advice and technical guidance to project leadership and staff for optimizing the development of JSE.
• Knowledge of RMF and project management of system security plans and Certification and Accreditation documentation and processes.
• Knowledge of government approved software tools used to identify and test key security control points of information systems and applications.
• Write systems security plans, certification and accreditation packages, test plans, operation instructions and program procedures.
• Ability to evaluate and implement multi-operating levels AIS physical, emissions, communications, and operational security requirements.
• Research and interpret complex guidance, regulations, laws and policies related to information assurance.
• Provide acquisition documentation support and statements of work for JSE stakeholders.
