Job summary

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) seeks a Clinical Pharmacist III to support Infectious Diseases programs in Moreno Valley, CA. Provides ID consults, antimicrobial stewardship, and outpatient clinic coverage, while teaching residents and students and leading quality projects.

The role requires PGY2 ID training; BCIDP certification is preferred. Four 10-hour shifts weekly with possible admin-time remote work; supervision of staff and collaboration with clinicians are key."

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree from accredited school.
• Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY-1) residency completed.
• Postgraduate Year 2 (PGY-2) residency or equivalent experience preferred; BCIDP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide infectious diseases consultation services and antimicrobial stewardship support.
• Cover outpatient ID clinic and supervise/mentor residents and APPE students.
• Lead or contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and institutional standards in pharmacy services.
• Provide clinical pharmacotherapy expertise and patient-focused care.
