Qualifications

• Active California LVN license required.
• 2+ years nursing experience; infection prevention or skilled nursing preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious disease, and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the infection prevention and control program.
• Conduct infection surveillance, case tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CDPH, CMS, and OSHA standards and precautions.
• Lead outbreak investigations and coordinate response efforts.
• Perform infection control rounds, audits, and risk assessments.
• Provide staff orientation and ongoing education on infection control and hand hygiene.
• Partner with Nursing Director and teams to improve quality and safety outcomes.
• Maintain TB testing protocols and employee health records.
