Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California LVN license.
• Two or more years in nursing with infection prevention or post-acute focus preferred.
• Knowledge of CDC, CMS, CDPH regulations and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and lead the facility's infection prevention program.
• Conduct surveillance, case tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, CDPH, CMS, OSHA standards and precautions.
• Lead outbreak investigations and coordinate response.
• Perform rounds, audits, and risk assessments.
• Educate staff on infection control, hand hygiene, and bloodborne pathogens.
