Grand St Settlement Inc. in New York, NY is seeking an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher (Early Head Start Lead Teacher) to create a warm, nurturing classroom where infants and toddlers grow and thrive.

You will partner with families and a dedicated team to support each child's development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), with a preferred Bachelor’s degree and 12 ECE credits; bilingual

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in ECE or related fields with 12 credits in early childhood education.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, documentation, and implementation of engaging, child-centered curriculum experiences.
• Build strong relationships with families and staff to achieve program goals.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming classroom environment in line with Head Start standards.
• Coordinate curriculum planning and individual recordkeeping to support children’s growth.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to engage families and support readiness goals.
