Job summary

Monroe Community College Assn seeks a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher at the Brighton Campus in Rochester, NY. You will plan and implement the early care and education program in compliance with NYS OCFS regulations and NAEYC guidelines.

You will supervise caregivers and volunteers, develop age-appropriate curricula, maintain records, and build trusting relationships with families while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in ECE or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood with NYS certification.
• CDA certification.
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience working with young children in a group setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the early care and education program per NY OCFS and NYSED guidelines.
• Supervise caregivers, interns, and volunteers.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom with centers and hands-on activities.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly plans aligned with curriculum.
