Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with young children in a licensed setting.
• Completed state-required pre-service training.
• Strong relationship-building with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate openly with families about progress and daily activities.
• Supervise activities to maintain health, safety and licensing compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Support Assistant/Resource Teachers and foster teamwork.
• Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
