Qualifications

• Experience in licensed childcare or preschool with young children
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to children
• Ability to work productively without supervision
• Basic understanding of child development concepts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for child handling
• Must pass state background checks and meet requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support children's development through active engagement and positive interactions
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, inviting learning environment
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster belonging
• Communicate with families about child’s progress and daily activities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations
• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
