The Goddard School® located at 1117 Stephenson Lane, Waunakee WI 53597 is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher for our toddler room ages 12-24 months. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.
• Must meet state pre-service training requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while assisting children.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open, effective communication with families about progress.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Observe, assess and document children’s learning for families.
• Support Assistant and Resource Teachers to foster teamwork.
• Apply positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.

Education

High school diploma

Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

1-2 years experience with young children

Lifts up to 50 lbs
