Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher at our Staten Island, NY location to lead a classroom for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. You will implement curriculum, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate with families while guiding Assistant Teachers.

Requirements include an Early Childhood Associate degree or pursuing a Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, at least 18 years old, and prior childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an Early Childhood Associate degree or be on a study plan to obtain a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous childcare/early childhood education experience required.
• Classroom leadership experience preferred.

• Plan age-appropriate learning and play experiences.
• Support children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
• Encourage curiosity, independence, communication, and confidence.
