Beacon Hill Schools is seeking a passionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team serving Athens, Watkinsville, and Bogart locations. The role focuses on nurturing young minds, fostering a love of learning, and providing a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, classroom management, progress assessment, and communication with families. Qualifications include ECE/Child Development credentials and relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
• Solid understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, social skills, and physical development.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote positive interactions among students.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
• Foster a love for learning through creative play, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.
