Job summary

Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. You will shape early development in a warm, supportive setting and lead the infant room.

You will plan activities, provide attentive care, document milestones, and ensure safety and licensing compliance while mentoring assistants and maintaining open parent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 ECE units required; infant/toddler units needed.
• Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check and meet California Community Care Licensing requirements.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for infant care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with parents and staff.

In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in shaping the earliest developmental milestones of our youngest learners in a warm, supportive environment.
