Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Guide to direct a mixed-age infant classroom (0–3) in a Montessori environment that supports independence, movement, and discovery. You will prepare the room, observe each child, and provide individualized care aligned with their rhythms and needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care setting.
• Alignment with child-led educational philosophies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar).
• Required ECE or Child Development credits; Bachelor’s degree in a child-related field; fully sponsored Montessori certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support development.
• Respect and follow each child’s rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly environment that fosters trust and exploration.
• Support independence by involving children in care activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and families.
• Partner with parents to support growth and development.
• Lead and collaborate with classroom team members.
