Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Guide to lead a mixed-age infant classroom (0–3) in a thoughtfully designed Montessori environment that supports independence, movement, and discovery. You will prepare the classroom, observe each child closely, and provide individualized care that honors their rhythms and needs.

Lead with warmth, build relationships with families, and collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification or diploma preferred.
• Experience with children aged 0–3 in daycare, nursery or similar setting.
• Alignment with child-led educational philosophies (Montessori or similar).
• Enrolled or completed a 2-year Child Development/ECE college program.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Respect each child’s natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting.
• Prepare and maintain an organized environment that fosters trust, movement, and exploration.
• Support independence by involving children in care activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and families; partner with parents for growth.
