Job summary

VaCom seeks a Project Manager to oversee multiple industrial refrigeration projects, including retrofits and turn-key systems. You will coordinate with contractors, customers and vendors, ensuring timely commissioning and start-up while maintaining safety and quality. Proficiency with PLC platforms and energy controls is valued.

The role involves travel, site work, and occasional remote coordination, with responsibility for scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables across large industrial systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform project scheduling for all activities using Smartsheet.
• Manage subcontractors and create daily schedules for installation.
• Perform start-up and commissioning schedules for the project.
• Manage customer expectations for current and future projects.
• Oversee on-site activities for all trades involved.
• Coordinate deliverables such as panels, equipment and field devices.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on tasks and items.
• Lead project meetings and assign action items.
• Maintain effective communications within team and with customers.
• Manage technical information within VaCom and coordination with vendors.
• Assist with project start-up, commissioning and training remotely or on site.
• Respond to customer requests and coordinate support efforts.
