Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead industrial refrigeration projects from inception through commissioning. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring safety and quality standards are met across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, procurement oversight, and coordination with engineering teams to align design with project milestones and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred) or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–7 years of experience managing large-scale industrial refrigeration or related projects.
• Proven leadership with cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation and cost-control skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in project management software; CAD drawings familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale refrigeration construction projects from contract award to commissioning.
• Serve as primary client liaison with owners and general contractors.
• Review and manage contracts to ensure scope and terms compliance.
• Coordinate with trades to meet quality, budget, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Oversee staffing and procurement to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage change orders and maintain customer satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Support engineering during the design phase to align goals.
• Monitor material deliveries and schedules with purchasing.
• Identify and manage project risks to comply with ammonia and CO2 regulations.
• Maintain meticulous project documentation and provide updates.
