Job summary

J&J Snack Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and operate HVAC, refrigeration, and plant equipment at our Tampa, FL facility. You will follow directions from the Maintenance/Plant Manager, monitor systems, and proactively address issues to ensure reliability and safety.

Requires 5–10 years of Industrial Refrigeration/HVAC experience, high school diploma or GED, EPA universal license, and ammonia refrigeration training; valid driver's license and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EPA universal license must be attained.
• Attend third party Ammonia refrigeration training.
• 5–10 years of maintenance or service technician experience.
• Experience with Industrial Refrigeration/HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks on refrigeration system and components.
• Adjust refrigeration system for optimal operation on ammonia plant.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
• Manage multiple tasks and maintain data checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
