Job summary

JJB Brands is seeking an HVAC-Certified In-House Maintenance Technician to join our restaurant team. In this role you will maintain and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems across multiple locations, ensuring guest comfort and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate holds EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and an HVAC credential, with at least three years of experience in commercial service, preferably in food-service facilities.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• HVAC certification from an accredited program required.
• At least 3 years of commercial HVAC or refrigeration service experience preferred.
• Experience with restaurant, retail, or commercial facilities preferred.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Respond to emergency service calls for heating, cooling, or refrigeration failures.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, parts, and labor.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized services when needed.
