Job summary

The position requires basic industrial painting experience, ability to read paint codes, and willingness to train towards Painter II level, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality adherence.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of industrial painting experience or completion of internal paint training program or an evaluated equivalent.
• Must be able to read checklists, paint codes, Safety logs, JSA's, SWI's etc.
• Automotive paint experience is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Flush tanks, hoses, and guns prior to color changeovers.
• Mix paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity, and consistency.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following safety procedures and 6S standards.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure specifications are met and perform light bodywork if required.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble painting equipment for proper operation.
