PTP is seeking a skilled bilingual Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of all industrial equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, conduct regular inspections, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership: Directs the work of maintenance staff, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and training.
- Maintenance and Repair: Performs and oversees repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnoses and resolves complex equipment problems, using technical skills and knowledge.
- Safety: Ensures adherence to safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.
- Documentation and Reporting: Records maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders, using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Training and Development: Assists in training and development of maintenance staff, ensuring proficiency in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Oversees the ordering, stocking, and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Coordination and Communication: Collaborates with other departments, such as production and engineering, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with extensive experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Leadership skills to supervise and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and other departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
