Job summary

Kohl’s Department Stores seeks a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance for conveyors, sorters, forklifts, and building systems within our high-volume retail distribution operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, coordinate repairs with external vendors, and mentor junior technicians in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining conveyors, sorters, forklifts and building systems.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience coordinating repairs with outside vendors.
• Mentoring junior technicians and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for conveyors, sorters, forklifts, and building systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
