Food manufacturer located in east Louisville is seeking an experienced manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic with strong mechanical & electrical skills.

Primary responsibility:

Repair, maintain and perform routine maintenance on production, packaging equipment and facility maintenance. Perform all repairs and maintenance throughout the facility. Work with preventive/predictive maintenance system to keep operating equipment in good condition.

Requirements

Requirements:.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years successful recent plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must pass electrician competency test
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical, computer, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Must have strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills
• Experience with computerized or automated controls and have ability to read electric schematics
• HVAC experience a plus
• Machine shop experience
• Fabrication skills and welding
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated successful, stable work history
• This is primarily a first shift position; however candidate must be able to work any shift, possible weekends, and on-call schedule
• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift
• Able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, and kneel throughout shift
• Able to work in hot/wet/cool conditions
