DHL Supply Chain seeks a Lead Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence for a major customer account. You will study workflows, optimize layouts, and implement processes to increase efficiency and safety across facilities.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop metrics, and coordinate with site management to deliver cost-saving and productivity gains while maintaining quality and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; four years of work experience acceptable.
• 3+ years of industrial engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with distribution, logistics, project management preferred.
• Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, putaway, pick, pack, ship) required.
• Capable of using AutoCAD and layout changes required.
• Familiar with continuous improvement and identifying opportunities within operations.
• GEMBA walks with operations team required.
• Time study and data conversion to meaningful metrics required.
• Flowcharting software knowledge; ability to outline process steps required.
• Ability to communicate with external organizations (vendors, customers,政府) required.
• Problem-solving with the ability to think beyond obvious solutions required.
• Develop relationships with vendors and operations for problem solving required.
• Communication skills across organizational levels required.
• Ability to identify process opportunities required.
• Contract administration experience preferred.
• Metric development and project management experience required.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills with MS Office/Visio required.
• Organizational scheduling and action planning skills required.
• Team collaboration and driving results with urgency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of consistent operational processes for a specific customer account.
• Study time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and standard production rate.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations.
• Investigate, gather, and analyze data to improve workflows and layouts at sites.
• Develop and implement plans to support warehousing/logistics operations.
• Design operations layouts and improve production flow.
• Monitor and report KPIs and performance initiatives.
• Lead studies on capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency.
• Lead implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Champion continuous improvement across customer sites.
• Transfer best practices across sites and projects.
