Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Electrician IV for our facility operations and maintenance team in Mossville IL. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with on-call weekends to support the client.

The electrician will troubleshoot, service and estimate materials and labor, working on HVAC, motors, lighting, control circuits, pumps, VFDs, PLCs and chillers, while mentoring less skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrician certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Five years' industrial maintenance electrician experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical systems up to 480V.
• Lead project work, assign tasks and ensure safety practices.
• Read schematics and one-lines to identify solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings in CMMS.
