Job summary

Morgan Corp. Industrial Division seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent in Greensboro, NC. The role plans, coordinates, and leads all electrical activities on industrial projects, coordinating with other trades and subcontractors as needed.

The ideal candidate will manage daily communication with field representatives, enforce safety and environmental requirements, and drive quality control across electrical work from planning through commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience
• 5 years of foreman experience
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and NFPA 70E standards
• Experience managing large industrial electrical projects from planning through commissioning
• Proficiency with MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, switchgear, substations, and power distribution systems
• Ability to lead multiple crews while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule objectives
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and documents
• Knowledge of power systems up to 6000V (15kV preferred)
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and field teams

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Develop and implement work plans for Foreman and craft teams.
• Use Microsoft Office for project documentation.
• Motivate, supervise, and direct craft teams to meet goals.
• Support weekly schedule updates and labor hour projections.
• Record daily labor and equipment usage for crews.
• Author and submit daily reports.
• Participate in hiring and evaluating employees.
• Coordinate training to improve skill levels.
• Perform routine safety, environmental, and quality inspections.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate subcontractor needs and implementation.
• Supervise electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Perform material takeoffs and ensure timely material orders and deliveries.
• Maintain adequate inventory for planned work.
• Comply with local and NEC electrical codes.
