Key Tech in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Lead Industrial Designer to grow our design group and drive product development across medical devices and life sciences.

You will lead design projects, conduct user research, develop ergonomic forms, create CAD models, and mentor junior designers, collaborating with engineers and business teams.

Formación

• 5–8 years in product design and development.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.
• Proven project leadership and mentorship.
• Excellent portfolio demonstrating core ID skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create elegant, user-centered products for medical, life sciences, and technical markets.
• Sketch, visualize, and ideate innovative concepts.
• Conduct user research including interviews and usability studies.
• Translate research into design solutions.
• Develop ergonomic forms, architectures, and interaction concepts.
• Create CAD models, renderings, and prototypes.
• Lead usability engineering activities and design validation.
• Present findings to clients and internal teams.
• Contribute to branding and UI elements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
