The Weitz Company is seeking a Senior Designer to join our Industrial team at the Quad Cities office. This role leads design of agricultural-related projects, ensuring practical, economical, high-quality outcomes in line with standards and construction estimates.

The Senior Designer will supervise design work, create task plans, manage equipment lists, mentor junior designers, and coordinate with project teams; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; related Bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in facility/process design or related field is expected.
• LEAN principles experience and OSHA certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a task plan and execute assignments per project documentation.
• Create and maintain equipment lists for assigned projects.
• Review designs and provide feedback to junior designers.
• Perform other duties as needed; business travel may be required.
