Executive Recruiting Consultants presents a Senior Designer opportunity in Iowa for a firm that designs, manufactures and installs customized grain handling equipment. The senior designer will lead facility design, integrate company products with other machinery, and coordinate with engineering and installation teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Lead facility design of bulk material handling equipment.
• Coordinate product lines with Engineering Lead and other teams.
• Review and approve layout work before engineer of record.
• Research to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
• Present designs to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility design of bulk material handling equipment while working with other design, engineering, installation, fabrication and millwright teams.
• Develop designs and drawings, fully integrating the company products into use with other equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate product lines with Material Handling Engineering Lead.
• Review and approve layout work before it is received by the engineer of record of the customer.
• Research to determine compliance with applicable federal, state and municipal codes.
• Present designs to customers and other stakeholders in projects.
