Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in New Johnsonville, TN seeks a civil/structural engineer to perform complete designs for projects at an industrial facility.

Responsibilities include developing layouts and cost studies, creating preliminary and detailed designs, checking calculations, coordinating with drafters, and leading small to mid-size teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural experience.
• PE registration preferred.
• Knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual layouts, cost studies, and preliminary designs.
• Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Coordinate with drafters/designers and review vendor/sub-discipline drawings.
• Lead small to mid-size teams to ensure scope, schedule and budget compliance.
