Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major industrial CAPEX investments from feasibility through handover across heavy industrial operations. Manage multi-million-dollar CAPEX and report to senior leadership.

The role requires 3+ years in heavy industry, an engineering degree (PMP advantageous), and collaboration with engineering, construction and operations teams to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in heavy industry
• Proven experience managing industrial CAPEX projects, including engineering, construction and commissioning
• Strong technical understanding of industrial plant equipment, engineering design and project cost control
• Engineering degree or equivalent; PMP certification is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial CAPEX projects valued between $1M and $25M, from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning and handover
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contractors and engineering partners to deliver safe, high-quality projects
• Drive technical decision-making, risk management and project execution across greenfield, brownfield and plant optimisation investments
• Collaborate with operational teams, engineering specialists and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
