Job summary

ALTEN USA is seeking a seasoned Incoming Quality Operations Leader to oversee all inspection activities for purchased components. You will drive procedures, lead a team of quality professionals, and partner with suppliers to ensure production readiness.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive quality, strong problem-solving, and a track record of continuous improvement within fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field with 5+ years in Incoming/ Supplier/ Manufacturing Quality within automotive or regulated environments.
• Experience leading quality technicians/teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of incoming inspection processes, containment, and supplier quality improvements.
• Ability to drive root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead incoming quality inspection activities for all purchased components and materials.
• Develop, implement, and improve inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and control plans.
• Mentor quality technicians and team leaders; support daily manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to communicate quality expectations and drive corrective actions.
