Job summary

nChroma Bio in Boston is seeking an experienced in vivo scientist to lead rodent study work and support multiple research programs. You will perform a broad range of procedures and collaborate with veterinary staff to maintain welfare and compliance with IACUC, SOPs, BOPs, and CRADL standards.

You will mentor staff, coordinate projects and audits, contribute to protocol development, and document data in notebooks and electronic files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in animal science, biological sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum of six years of laboratory animal experience with advanced in vivo skills; LATG preferred.
• AALAS LATG certification preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo procedures in mice and rats and lead day-to-day operations.
• Mentor and assess laboratory staff competency.
• Coordinate projects, audits, and equipment management.
• Prepare study materials and ensure IACUC protocol compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
