Raven StealthCo, based in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Associate Scientist in In Vitro Pharmacology and Assay Development. The role builds the lab, develops cell-based assays, and supports ex vivo analyses to translate externalized in vivo studies into interpretable results.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years BS or 6+ years MS in biotech, with strong molecular biology, -omics fluency, and experience in oligonucleotide modalities and biomarker strategies. Hybrid schedule with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BS with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years of relevant experience in biotech or related field.
• Hands-on aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture experience required.
• Strong molecular biology, biochemistry and -omics fluency.
• Experience with oligonucleotide modalities, delivery systems, and in vivo pharmacology support.

Responsibilities

• Stand up the company’s cell culture from ground up using primary and stem-cell-derived cells.
• Design, develop, and run reproducible in vitro assays for oligonucleotides and conjugates; quantify target engagement and PD effects.
• Build an assay toolkit for hit profiling including uptake, internalization, trafficking assays.
• Establish tissue-processing and ex vivo PD and efficacy analyses to support in vivo studies.
• Collaborate with analytical chemistry to deliver tissue-exposure and biodistribution data.
• Develop translational biomarker assays to track PD, target engagement, and early efficacy.
• Introduce new methods and vendors; ensure robust, documented, transferable assays.
• Help build the lab infrastructure, train team members, and maintain data templates and SOPs.
