Job summary

Raven StealthCo in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Associate Scientist in In Vitro Pharmacology and Assay Development to advance two core capabilities: a rigorous in vitro engine and ex vivo analyses linked to in vivo pharmacology. The role involves primary and stem-cell models, target engagement assays, and collaboration with chemistry and analytical teams.

The candidate will stand up cell culture, integrate CRO-run screens in-house, and implement robust, transferable assays with defined controls.

Qualifications

• DOE or MS degree with relevant discovery lab experience.
• Hands-on aseptic mammalian cell culture and assay development.
• Experience with oligonucleotide modalities and translational biomarkers.

Responsibilities

• Stand up cell culture from ground up using primary and stem-cell-derived cells.
• Design and run in vitro assays for oligonucleotides and conjugates.
• Build an assay toolkit for hit profiling and target engagement.
• Establish tissue-processing and ex vivo readouts for in vivo studies.
• Develop bioanalytical methods and correlate tissue exposure with PK/PD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable rapid program decisions.
• Help build lab infrastructure, templates, records, and SOPs.
