Job summary

Raven Healthcare Incubator in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Associate Scientist In Vitro Pharmacology and Assay Development to build and run the lab's in vitro and ex vivo pharmacology engine. You will establish cell culture, develop primary and stem-cell-derived models, and execute oligonucleotide delivery assays.

As a founding team member, you will stand up assays, partner with in vivo pharmacology and analytical chemistry, and contribute to translational biomarker work.

Qualifications

• BS with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years in biotech, title commensurate.
• Hands-on aseptic mammalian cell culture and end-to-end assay development.
• Experience with oligonucleotide modalities and delivery systems.
• Fluency with -omics datasets (RNA-seq, proteomics) and data analysis.
• Independent, initiative-driven, and effective communicator in a fast-startup setting.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and validate in vitro and ex vivo readouts for oligonucleotide delivery.
• Design, optimize, and execute cell-based assays for target engagement and PD.
• Develop tissue-processing and readouts for ex vivo analyses.
• Collaborate with in vivo pharmacology and analytical chemistry teams.
• Establish robust assay templates, SOPs, and data management.
