Job summary

Crossmark Inc. seeks a part-time Event Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will serve samples, engage customers, and maintain demo equipment in a professional manner.

You will set up the event table, coordinate with store staff, and assist the supervisor as needed. Expected to stand, walk, and lift while following safety guidelines; bilingual skills may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer and mobile device.
• Certificates: Food Safety Professional Certification; Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, occasional up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of equipment and supplies for events.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming events when Supervisor is absent.
• Be the point person for all events in the store; assist others as needed.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Gain product knowledge and sell products to consumers.
• Prepare and serve food samples while following safety guidelines.
• Set up Event Table and complete all assigned work.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Submit expense reports per Company Policy.
• Take photos of event setup to document success for clients.
