Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to deploy FactSet products and deliver high-value engagements for sophisticated clients in the U.S. You will independently implement multiple workflows and provide technical guidance for client-specific solutions.

You will map client structures, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to enhance workflows. Travel may be required, and you will train users and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, CS, IS, Engineering or related scientific/technical discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience with FactSet Analytics tools.
• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA or other industry certifications preferred.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture.
• Willingness to travel and work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Deploy FactSet products by delivering high-value projects and engagements
• Independently implement multiple workflows
• Provide product, functional, and technical guidance for customer-specific process solutions
• Communicate with sophisticated users using investment principles and their industry applications
• Create user workflow and custom report specifications
• Establish priorities and direction for technical integration staff based on client requirements
• Identify growth strategies by mapping client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunities
• Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet products
• Provide user training and support development of training programs
• Produce client-facing communications to facilitate transition from implementation to support
• Implement new and enhance existing deployments to improve user experience and enable sales opportunities
• Contribute to departmental leadership decision-making
• Collaborate with and mentor junior implementation specialists
• Support complex organizational changes, enterprise deployments, restructures, and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline
• At least 6 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools
• Strong knowledge of performance workflows
• Strong technical background
• Proven technical proficiency, particularly with writing complex screening codes
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products
• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
• Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
• Willingness to travel
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
