Overview

The Lead Implementation Consultant is a post-sales role focused on individual clients, responsible for implementing Edifecs/Cotiviti solutions purchased by clients. The consultant will install, configure, and oversee the implementation of Edifecs/Cotiviti products at client sites, including hardware installation, configuration, and development of programs, tasks, and guidelines tailored to client needs. This role serves as the primary Client Services technical resource, interfacing with the client's technical teams. Responsibilities include delivering product training, developing client-specific requirements, and ensuring successful deployment. The role demands strong technical understanding of Edifecs/Cotiviti solutions and transaction flows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients post-sale to develop and execute implementation plans tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate with the Implementation Architect/Technical Project Manager on architecture, strategy, and operational planning.
• Install, upgrade, and configure Edifecs/Cotiviti products onsite.
• Integrate products with other client software assets and processes.
• Work with internal teams to meet development milestones, developing guidelines, programs, and reports as needed.
• Provide post-implementation support during transition to maintenance.
• Deliver training and develop documentation based on standards and client requirements.
• Mentor internal teams on Edifecs/Cotiviti products and custom components.
• Act as SME for purchased Edifecs/Cotiviti solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients’ technical teams, demonstrating strong presentation skills.
• Manage testing, deployment, and release cycles at client sites.
• Create detailed operational documentation to support deployment.
• Deliver technical training during software releases and deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in EDI and US Healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of Application and Enterprise Application Integration.
• Experience with middleware tools such as JCAPS, WebMethods, WMBI, AquaLogic, or messaging engines like IBM MQ, Active MQ.
• Understanding of Integration Design Patterns and message formats like XML, HL7, EDI, EDIFACT, etc.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and scripting languages like Perl.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including troubleshooting and scripting.
• Understanding of Application Servers and technical documentation development.
• Knowledge of healthcare payer/provider processes and HIPAA EDI transactions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in project scope estimation, change management, and technical training.
• Familiarity with Edifecs/Cotiviti products is a plus.
