Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation (NHLC) is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to join its impact litigation team. The role focuses on advocating for Native Hawaiian rights, handling complex cases in state courts and the 9th Circuit, including water rights, environmental protection, and traditional practices.

Formación

• 8+ years of litigation experience.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active Hawaii license to practice law.
• First chair trial experience; appellate experience preferred.
• Strong research and writing abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage assigned cases from start to finish.
• Lead discovery, witness preparation, and depositions.
• Draft and finalize all written advocacy.
• Prepare for trials and appellate oral arguments.
• Lead negotiations and settlements for the client.
• Collaborate with NHLC staff and partners.
