Job summary
IR Pros seeks an experienced Insulated Metal Panel (IMP) Superintendent / Foreman to lead field installation crews on commercial and industrial projects. You will supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring high-quality IMP installations while maintaining safety and schedule.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IMP installation and proven leadership in coordinating with project teams to keep momentum in a fast-paced construction environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing insulated metal panel systems.
- Experience supervising installation crews in commercial/industrial construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Responsibilities
- Lead field operations: supervise and lead installation crews for IMP systems and plan daily tasks.
- Installation oversight: ensure IMP systems meet specs and coordinate layout, flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing details.
- Project coordination: review drawings, shop drawings, and specs; assist with sequencing and planning.
- Safety leadership: enforce OSHA regulations, conduct daily safety meetings, ensure PPE compliance.
- Materials & equipment: coordinate delivery, staging, and protect materials; track usage and shortages.
- Reporting: provide daily progress updates and document field conditions and changes.
