Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied science in Medical Laboratory Technology; Licenses and Certification MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• 5 years in clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine waived, moderately, and high complex testing.
• Collect, process and receive specimens (blood, urine, fecal, body fluids) for analysis in the clinical laboratory.
• Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of specimens across all age ranges.
• Prepare samples for testing and send out to reference laboratories.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and stock supplies.
• Perform complex laboratory procedures; recognize deviations; analyze and correct issues under CLIA guidelines.
