Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking an Image Technician based at our Allen, TX home store (840 West Exchange Pkwy) to maintain the appearance and condition of roughly 40 RaceTrac locations in the region. You’ll perform routine maintenance, repairs, painting and facility-image tasks within a preventative framework.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in facility maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills, and comfort with common tools.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
• General knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Comfort using common hand and power tools and basic office equipment.
• Experience supporting maintenance needs in a retail environment is preferred.
• Maintenance certifications are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the secondary driver of the crew vehicle.
• Inspect buildings and other structures to identify malfunctions and repairs.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (switches, outlets, bulbs, tubes, fuses).
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, drains, hoses).
• Complete minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
• Prepare and paint walls, refrigerators, floors, doors, and restrooms.
• Order parts, maintain inventory, and document work in the system.
• Report equipment repair needs through Service Channel.
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
• Maintain landscape and perform related maintenance as needed.
