Job summary

Esri is seeking a senior software professional to design, test, document, and deploy advanced geospatial software for defense and intelligence applications. You will lead integration efforts with ArcGIS, define user requirements, and mentor teams to ensure high quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes remote sensing, photogrammetry, and image analysis, with a path toward automated QA and SOP development. Applicants should be U.S. citizens eligible for TS/SCI and have 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or a related field.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• Advanced experience in remote sensing, image processing, photogrammetry, or image analysis.
• 5+ years of engineering experience on COTS or GOTS software products.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and test software solutions for imagery products supporting formats like NITF, GeoTIFF, CADRG, MISB video.
• Collaborate to integrate and test analytical toolkits into ArcGIS.
• Document results from holistic lab testing and support future releases.
• Lead design, development, and documentation of automated QA plans and tests (SOPs, QA metrics).
• Define, document, and prioritize user requirements for GIS in real-world remote sensing scenarios.
• Mentor team members and coordinate testing strategies across projects.
