Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to drive the CollabAI Platform engineering team through design, development, and rollout of foundational AI platform services, ensuring security and compliance across FedRAMP and multiple hyperscalers.

You will guide engineering standards, optimize cost per inference, and align roadmaps with product priorities while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product mgmt, SRE, security, and partner teams.

Qualifications

Advanced degree with extensive experience in platform engineering.
4+ years of supervisory or management experience leading software or platform teams.
Experience directing platform, infrastructure, or shared-services engineering for multiple downstream product teams.
Experience leading large-scale platform initiatives from requirements to production deployment.
Experience defining standards for design, security, and testing in cloud environments (FedRAMP/PCI-DSS or similar).

Responsibilities

Lead the CollabAI Platform engineering team through the full lifecycle of foundational AI platform services.
Drive platform posture across compliance programs, partnering with security and pen-testing teams.
Establish engineering standards for design reviews, security, observability, and incident response.
Align platform roadmap and resource allocation with product priorities across CollabAI, Meetings, Messaging, and Contact Center.
Collaborate with product management, SRE, security/compliance, hyperscaler teams, and consuming product teams to translate stakeholder needs into platform decisions.
